CONSERVATION
Chinmay has been assiduously working towards conservation activities and has been a part of an NGO named 'Voluntary Nature Conservancy' for the past few years. He has finished his research on the Human-Crocodile relationship: Conflict & Co-existence in one of the nearby areas of his hometown and aspires to endeavor in his career by creating impactful stories of co-existence between the living humanity and the living wild.
He is currently working on a short conservation cum awareness film that focuses on the Snakebite issue with Voluntary Nature Conservancy.
Chinmay has been eminently involved in the Crocodile Count program for the past three years and was accompanied by Dr. Asir Jawahar Thomas Johnsingh on one of the count programs. Chinmay plays the role of collecting data and reviews of the people who live and share a common waterbody with the crocodiles.
He has also been a part of the Anti-Snare campaign in the Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary organized by the Maharashtra Government.
Apart from this, Chinmay is also actively involved in sharing and spreading knowledge about conservation on his Instagram page and also in person.
