Chinmay is a creative and dynamic filmmaker with 2 years of experience in factual and natural history filmmaking. His passion has landed him with a know-how of filming in diverse environments from remote regions of Himalayas to the coast's of United Kingdom.
Having travelled and worked on various projects from documenting conservation events, filming wildlife in its natural habitat and working with people on grass-roots level, he had the opportunity to use wide range of equipments from professional filming cameras like FX9, mirrorless, drones, camera traps to studio based kits.
He believes that visual stories are the best form of influence on people as it puts light on the real-life experiences that are strong and impactful.

"In Search of The Blue Ground Beetle"
Witness how a team of experts embark on a dramatic expedition in search of the rare and once thought to be extinct species, the Blue Ground Beetle. What they find has changed the scenario of the Beetle in the United Kingdom.
"Moses Gate: Return of The Wild"
The film recently got officially selected and got nominated for the "best super short documentary at the Student World Impact Film Festival 2023." It is about the portrait of a country park which had a rich history as a paper making site back in the 1800s, but because of which wildlife couldn't thrive around. Soon after its closure, the various habitats improved with time which resulted into the wildlife making its return.
"Life In The Himalayas" (In post-production)
This upcoming short film will delve into the lives of people and wildlife that co-exist and thrives around Chicham village, a remote region in the Himalayas. Featuring Takpa and family with some stunning visuals of Snow-leopards and other local wildlife.
"BioBlitz 2023"
Directed & filmed BioBlitz 2023 with 2 other colleagues for the Mersey River's Trust in collaboration with the University of Salford.
"The Bee lady"
The Bee Lady is an interview based short documentary featuring Amber McCormack, an apiarist who shares a unique bond with the bees. The film delves into the concept of human-animal relationships and its importance leading to conservation and aspects of mental health of the human beings.
"Snakebite: The Unheard Voices" (In post-production)
This upcoming short documentary puts light on the very neglected issue not just in India but on a global level. Chinmay has worked with Voluntary Nature Conservancy, an NGO, on the grass-root level with the farmers, who are the main victims. The film will address the do's & don'ts for the farmers to deal with snakes when in a situation and how awareness programs can play a role in not just educating the people but also lead them towards conservation.
